Play Date!

Ari loves school and she also loves Ceci.  She loves to have play dates and here are some pictures of the date:

She always wants to have her tables set for Tea Time with lots of goodies for her friends.

Ceci is preparing the Tea :)

She did not want to wear her Easter's dress until she saw Ceci and Lili.  She then asked me if I could change her to her cute dress.

I love Lili.  She is so cute.  She has a good appetite just like me.

I wish the tree was not quite in the way.  But, that was the best picture while they were sitting together in the backyard.

 Running around...

Playing!

Cancelled GRill Party Not!

I was so tired that the Garden Party that I wanted to do was cancelled.  So, I called everyone but I could not get hold of my mom until two days before and when  I did she said "What? I am still coming!"  But, I cancelled I said.  She said ,  "I already did a lot of stuff for the party".  Party was back on. (We ended up having pork chops, chicharron, steak, rice, beans, guacamole...) On Saturday, the family came and had a very good grilling party.  My mom even bought me the only tomatoes and peppers that made it into the ground.  This is the first year that I don't go crazy buying plants - mostly flowers with some vegetables.  Maybe I can still buy some flowers for my empty pots...

These are the flowers that my mom bought.
My clematis that I planted 3 summers ago!  This year is doing wonderful :)
Arianna loving her swing and slide!
Thank you mom.  You are awesome :)

Random Fall things...

Fall is here sadly (and not) because each season offers you something to be happy about, but in the sadly part I won't have my flowers until next year. Anyway, we went out for a very short time to play ball (Arianna loves to do that whether it is cold or not)
and I took a few pictures for you to enjoy with us :)

This was a different weekend, the temperatures go up and down - just crazy so no need for coat.

And now we have about 4 woodpeckers, they enjoy the suet that I leave by my window and I enjoy taking pictures of them.

Change is in the horizon...

Here is a picture of my darling's cute sandals. She loves the flowers, and to play with them, but not to wear them. I guess she needs to get used to them :)

Ari loves to draw her hand. She loves to draw in general, crayons, chalkboard, pens, you name it. We already have her first art work in our couch! We don't even know when she did it!

Daddy and Ari are eating some yummy Oreo cookies. Maybe we should do the commercial. They look so cute together.

Resting after eating all those cookies. I guess that will be the pose if we had any stars to look at.

Ari and her bears. She loves to put them to sleep. There are blankets everywhere, in the house, the car, the crib, etc... The good thing is that she does not care for just one. She does have some favorites, but we have plenty that she likes.

Once the bears are sleeping, she hushes us and then in a very loud voice says " They're sleeping. Shhhhh." I guess the to be quiet part applies to her parents only.

A bedtime story. She likes to have some books read to her before going to her bed. Sometimes when Mike is busy, I try to read to her, but she really wants him at this hour. Maybe after I read during the day, she wants someone else.

"Oh, no. You caught me!" Yeah, what is it with toddlers and fridges?

Went to Carmax to give us an idea how much will it cost to buy a used car if we need to get a second car. We need to start planning since there is a high chance that I will be going back to work in the near future. It was a very hot day, so we did not stay to long, but saw a few possibilities.

I guess that is what life is, a bunch of possibilities. So, here it is to positive changes.

Time to go back to the car. It was getting too hot, the baby had some pink cheeks, but she was drinking lots of fluids.

The big brownie that I made for Mike in our Anniversary. It has a crunchy top, but really soft- chewed interior. Yum.

Picnic

On Sunday, we went to a picnic in a forest preserve near our home. It was a nice and warm day, with no rain in sight. What do you think of this tree? It caught my eye - or I should say my camera!

Everyone enjoying the sunny day.

Arianna was loving this tree. She is a monkey in a way. She wants to be flipped, twirled, etc.. So, it made sense that she wanted to be in top of the tree.

Arianna wanted to keep going up and down. She kept asking Ann to help her! "Please!"

Everyone enjoying the tree. Nice family picture :)

Glenn and Arianna were playing ball for awhile.

Then, everyone joined on the fun.

Glenn checking the surroundings. Yeah, everything was in check!

Aunt Ann and Arianna having a wonderful moment.

Tiffany and Glenn playing with the tennis balls that grandpa and grandma brought.

Dave enjoying a moment with Glenn as well.

Horses. There is a trail that goes through. Glenn and Ari stopped what they were doing and looked at the horses until they were out of sight.

Nice picture of Ann in the famous tree.

Grandpa and Papa reading and relaxing.

Everyone else were playing a game.

First time ...

Arianna was too little last Spring to enjoy the outdoors -well, that and the fact that she hated it grass! I am guessing the feel of the grass was what she did not like, but this time the first day that hit in the upper 60's we went outside to play ball. We played for a while until she found some rocks more interesting...

Here you can see Ezri watching some bird action and Arianna as well...

Here is Data, one of my gerbils... He loves to do this...

And some more nature photography...
