First time ...

Arianna was too little last Spring to enjoy the outdoors -well, that and the fact that she hated it grass! I am guessing the feel of the grass was what she did not like, but this time the first day that hit in the upper 60's we went outside to play ball. We played for a while until she found some rocks more interesting...

Flower Show

Would not be nice to have this in your backyard!? Well, at least some water feature that gives you that wonderful trickle trickle noise... Maybe one day.


On Sunday, Mike surprised me by going to the Flower and Garden Show on Navy Pier. We had not been there in a long time. It was really nice, but it was very busy so I was very surprised that Mike had wanted to go ... he even was willing to get a stamp on his hand (although it turned out we did not need to get stamp) phew! Well, the family knows about this, hehe. So, thank you. As you can see, Arianna was asleep when we got there, but she woke up about 45 mins later...


And they had lots of sand for kids to play... First, she kept wanting to get her fingers cleaned every second, then she realized that she could be ok with some sand, then she cried when we had to go... Oh, dear!
Mike liked this garden because of all the evergreens, I liked the water feature and the flowers so it was a nice idea for the future.

Here is Mike with a nice smile! He was a super trooper...
